Summer sale: Warner Bros cuts price of its iOS and Android games to 99 cents
Warner Bros is attempting to spread a bit of summer joy this week with the launch of a mobile game sale.
The entertainment giant is offering discounts on more than 10 of its games in the iOS store (skip to the end for Android details), giving mobile gamers the chance to save as much as $5 on some purchases. Here’s a breakdown of what’s available in this limited-time offer….
Down from $5.99: Batman Arkham City Lockdown
Down from $4.99: Bastion / Lego Batman: DC Superheroes / Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 / Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7 / Man of Steel for iPad / Scribblenauts Remix
Down from $2.99: Man of Steel for iPhone / Harry Potter: Spells
Down from $1.99: Midway Arcade / Tapper World Tour HD for iPad
If you don’t have the latest iDevice, make sure you check the system requirements for each game as some are unable to work on older iOS devices. Also, if your handset or tablet is low on storage space, you’d be wise to confirm the size of some of these games – Bastion, for example, requires more than half a gigabyte of space.
It’s not clear how long the offer’s going to last, so if interested, better grab them quick.
While many of these games aren’t available on the Android platform, a few are, with Scribblenauts Remix, Man of Steel, and Batman: Arkham City Lockdown all currently selling on the Google Play store at the discounted price of 99 cents.
