Samsung is gearing up to launch its biggest phone of the year, the Galaxy S 4, but the company has also taken the time to announce another Android device that will debut later this year, the Samsung Galaxy Win.

The Samsung Galaxy Win features a 4.7-inch TFT LCD display with a WVGA resolution. It has a 5 megapixel camera capable of shooting 720p at 15fps, and a VGA front-facing camera for video chat. The Galaxy Win runs on a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, and a microSD slot that supports up to 32GB. Samsung includes a 2,000 mAh battery to power the phone, and the device will be available in Single or Dual SIM formats.

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s Motion UX gesture features power the Galaxy Win software. There’s also the presence of Easy Mode, Samsung’s simplified launcher and UI that’s designed to strip Android down to its most basic elements. Easy Mode will be an optional UI setting that will ease use for first time smartphone buyers and those who want “streamlined access” to the phone’s core functions.

The Samsung Galaxy Win will be sold in Ceramic White or Titan Gray color options. Samsung has yet to announce the Galaxy Win costs, release date, or regions of availability.
