The Samsung Galaxy S 4 will arrive at all the major carriers in the United States, and Samsung today confirms that the launch of its flagship Android smartphone will begin in April. Carriers will share individual release dates, but Samsung says that AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, U.S. Cellular, Cricket, and C Spire are among the providers who will offer the Galaxy S 4. As expected, big box retailers Best Buy Mobile, Costco, Radio Shack, Sam’s Club, Staples, Target, and Wal-Mart will sell the device in stores.

The Galaxy S 4 is packed with features that we covered at the Android 4.2 smartphone’s March unveiling, including several new software options and impressive hardware specifications. It also supports Samsung’s KNOX and SAFE initiatives aimed at securing the device for enterprise purposes.

We’re still awaiting confirmation from carriers on these exact dates, which will probably be announced in the next few days. We’ll update this post as more announcements are made.

- T-Mobile will offer the Galaxy S 4 online beginning April 24 for $149.99 down payment

- Sprint will offer the Galaxy S 4 beginning April 27 for $249.99

- U.S. Cellular will offer the Galaxy S 4 in four weeks for $199.99
