Apple has rolled out the latest beta of its much-anticipated iOS 7 software to developers. The latest upgrade, beta 3, packs in heaps of new tweaks and tricks that are bound to keep hard-working devs busy over the coming weeks.

Key changes include redesigned music controls in the native music app, improved calendar functionality and an enhanced UI within Safari. The latter is perhaps iOS 7’s biggest change compared to iOS 6.

Siri is also believed to have been tweaked, just two weeks after beta 2 brought a whole host of changes to Apple’s voice assistant tool.

Apple will likely release another update to iOS 7 for developers in the next few weeks. The Cupertino company is working towards a general roll out of the new platform in autumn, with a late September or early October release mooted online.
